Poštová banka issues all MC debit cards with an international chip. This built-in chip includes security features that increase the safety of the debit card from fraud. All MC debit cards still contain also magnetic stripe to provide acceptance on ATMs and POS terminals, which are not chip-ready.
Issue conditions:
- Client's account managed with Poštová banka a.s.
at least for 3 months
The Bank issues two types of MC
- MC STANDARD - to all types of accounts in domestic and foreign currency
- MC GOLD - to all types of accounts in domestic and foreign currency

POS daily limit (daily limit of cashless payment at merchants)

Use of debit card in the area of SR and abroad for:
- cash withdrawal from Poštová banka ATMs and ATMs of other banks marked with MC logo
- cash withdrawal and payment of postal orders, invoices, collection and other payments through POŠTOMAT ATM located at post offices
- cash withdrawal at payment places of banks accepting MC
- cashless payment for goods and services at merchants accepting MC cards
- recharging of mobile phone credit for Easy and Prima cards through ATMs in the area of SR
